Huge NH lake that is outstanding for boating and tons of other activities at docks and such around the lake. Beautiful lake and very scenic. While I enjoy it, I personally would opt for a smaller lake with less traffic. Tons of people and boats. 90% of shoreline is developed. Winnipesaukee is really accessible with tons of campgrounds and hotels with a lot to do which make it a good option. I like it, but would just prefer a smaller lake with less people and traffic.
Huge lake having a small beach in front, in New Hampshire region. Very beautiful surrounding area with park benches on the side-walk. Nice area to take a leisurely walk.
Beautiful lake! Enjoyed town of Wolfeboro and Castle in the Clouds nearby. Were not at a time of year to swim but is very clear water.
What's not to love about this lake. Went for a sunset cruise cruise and for the first time got a sense of how incredibly massive tge lake actually is
Yeah, the most beautiful place I’ve been too.
Gorgeous lake love to see sunrise and sunset here 😍 …
Wonderful, huge lake, between the mountains, trees and cute little towns. Scenic roads and scenic views. Lots of activities, beaches - some with sand, some with green grass, fun!
This is easily one of our most beautiful natural lakes. You can cruise to several different towns, dock, and enjoy a wide variety of restaurants and shops. It's 15 miles wide and 25 miles long... 200' deep at the deepest area. Nice places to anchor. The views in all directions are stunning as gorgeous mountains surround the lake. Several marinas rent or sell slips for boaters... Including Mountainview Yacht Club which sees the famed Mount Washington across the lake. Lake Winnipesaukee is a fabulous place to watch sunsets, too!
